**FEMALE PATIENTS ONLY** GYNECOLOGY SPECIALIST Barbara J. Stegmann, MD, PhD, is an OB/GYN who specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Stegmann received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed her residency at the Phoenix Integrated Residency program and her fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Following her residency and fellowship, Dr. Stegmann completed her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Iowa where she also served as an assistant professor of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the OB/GYN department. Throughout her career, Dr. Stegmann has been a trusted voice in the medical community both in the US and abroad. After completing her PhD, she joined Merck & Co., one of big three pharmaceutical companies in infertility, where she supervise their clinical trials in women’s health. She has served as a reviewer for many illustrious medical journals, including Fertility and Sterility and the New England Journal of Medicine, authored more than 40 scientific publications and delivered more than 50 medical presentations around the world. Dr. Stegmann is a fellow with the American College of OB/GYN and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Patient-centered and technology-driven, Dr. Stegmann has long been an advocate for others — serving her country as a Flight Surgeon during Operation Desert Storm and as a Captain of the USAF Reserves in the early ’90s. When she is not helping individuals improve their overall health and wellness and assisting couples in creating their families, Dr. Stegmann can be found at the horse barn where she has been a competitive rider for more than 20 years.
