I was born in Taiwan, moved to Canada when I was 10, and did my college, medical school, and residency training in the United States. I was certified as a personal trainer and have a master's degree in nutrition. I am also a certified diabetic educator. I am a strong believer in using lifestyle habits, mainly through diet and exercise, to heal and prevent diseases. I prefer to use less medication, and let our body heal naturally whenever possible.
